Welcome to "The Elven Forest" an online fantasy story by me, Rachel Jackson. Now for me, I'm not really one for sitting on the couch, my bed, outside etc, with a book. I have to force myself to read it. Not because I hate reading, but because the words look plain with nothing but plain paper and black text.
This is why I have made this website so bright and interesting (I hope, anyway). My aim was to allow the reader to be interested in the atmosphere around the story, aswell as the story itself. I personally, would much prefer to read the contents displayed in an environment like this other than a musty old book.
If you prefer musty old books, however, then perhaps this is not the place for you. But if you enjoy reading, whatever the surroundings, then please, read away. Feed back is always welcome and highly appreciated. Please, no flaming. If you don't like my story then tell me maturely. Flame emails and comments will only be laughed at.

This story is generally labelled 'adult fiction' but is available to read by anyone. It has moments of horror and violence that certain ages may find offensive or scary. If your child/you find this novel too scary etc, then please do not e-mail me telling me to take it off the internet, please go somewhere else.
I have double checked and to my knowledge there is no content that would seriously offend anyone's religion/beliefs etc. It is plain and simple, good fantasy fiction for you, the reader, to indulge in.
